Looking for a good starter kit

I'm trying to start out with Arduino, and i'm buying a new kit. I don't know which brand on Amazon to trust and I don't know which kit will turn out the best. ($ 0-100 or around that)

The RoboRed that comes with this is a great UNO clone.

I would buy a second ROBORED just in case  .

The controller is SMD.

See this page:

Of importance is the onboard power supply, up to 2 Amps !

An advanced 5.0V switch-mode power supply onboard the RoboRED provides MUCH more 5V power than the original: up to 2 Amps (2000 mA) to power many servos or Relay Boards or powerful LEDs, etc. And the Input Voltage rating is higher at 7-23V.

Click on the LINK just above the image, there are 3 kits available from them.

ARDUINO KITS

Thanks! Just one question, are they in used condition???

They are new, (never been used).

This is a link to the first $60.00 kit’s how-to.

I have several RoboRed boards.

And another thing, every GPIO pin has an associated (male) 5v and GND pin that can then go to a sensor module.

That’s 17, GNDs and 17, 5Volt pins.

Each GPIO has 2 pin connections. 1 Female and 1 Male.

ummm....????? Sry I've barely used boards before

Here are some links (homework) that you might find useful.

Take the hobby slow, one step at a time.

  • When you run into problems, there are a lot of volunteers here that can help out.
  • Some of the items are advanced but you can skip over the more advanced ones.

Have fun !

Thanks!
