I would like to use a 5-inch display together with the Arduino DUE. I had actually wanted to start this project back in 2018. I found a different solution back then and the material has been lying idle ever since. I wanted to use it again this year. But my son had stopped me so far and I was supposed to use a Raspberry instead. He himself is an enthusiastic Rasberry user and wanted to take care of the foundation. Now the foundation seems to be a bit fragile, the Qt library is not the yellow of the egg in my opinion. The GUI that I was able to achieve on my Mac-based development environment suddenly no longer works on the Raspberry (Ubuntu).
I hope that a lot has happened in the years since 2018 and that there is a library for the mentioned diplay that can be used to build a healthy GUI. Does anyone have an idea which library I should start with?

It was my mistake not to read the packaging correctly. It is a 5-inch display and not a 7-inch.
