Making a simple tracking for a face

Hey guys! I'm trying to figure out a simple/effective way to track an object, then move eyeballs (micro servo's) accordingly. I mainly need help with what to do/use for the tracking!

Check out edge or open cv. Make sure the board is very powerful; this is an app that needs lots of cycles.

This is a question coming now and then. I don't remember any solusions.
Often high power computing is needed like identifying objects in camera pictures. That's really advanced matters.

PixyCam 2

Great! although I'm looking for low price parameters, compatible without taking a lot of memory or power type thing. the pyxi 2 is good, but is a little pricey. I'm more looking for simple, like 5 ultrasonic type thing.

simple, like 5 ultrasonic type thing.

How is that "simple"? What is the plan for identifying a face?

not identifying, tracking. like for instance, a little contraption that moves servo eys according to an objects location, so it looks at said object.

The ultrasonic sensors report only the distance to the nearest object.

Keep in mind that they have a "cone of vision" of about 30 degrees.

The Husky Lens is even more pricey but far far superior to the pyxi 2

For a cheap solution look at the time of flight sensors.
Time of flight
Like the VL03LOX sensor. Check the maximum and minimum ranges as there are a couple of versions with different ranges.

You will need two, one looking left and the other looking right to get the direction of the passing object.

That might just work! where can I buy them?

Just search for them in the dealers in your country. What ever that is.
