Hello guys,
I am new to Arduino, i am currently working on a stewart platform. However i cant find much information on the internet related to the platform. Is there any link you guys can recommend to me so that i can start on it? Also is there any reference codes i can take reference to?
Thanks!
I'm in the same boat as you. What's a stewart platform?
Hi
From Wikipedia : A Stewart platform is a type of parallel robot that incorporates six prismatic actuators, commonly hydraulic jacks. These actuators are mounted in pairs to the mechanism's base, crossing over to three mounting points on a top plate.
We are trying to do up a stewart platform so that our foam plane could be mounted on it which would depicts the movements of an aircraft. So was wondering if anyone have done it could give us some advice.
Thanks!!!
Up there on the right, there's a box that says "Search the Arduino Forum".
Did you try typing the words "Stewart platform" into it?
Hi,
An indestrucible project..
They are the type of table used in flight simulators.
Tom....
google is my friend...
Hello,
I did check the forum for the related topics, but i could not understand what are they talking about. As i am starting to make the stewart platform from scratch. So i was wondering if anyone in this forum would be able to help me. The only thing that i know about stewart platform is that we would require some servos and pushrods. So it would be a great help to me if anyone could list out like a step by step of what we need to do and the codes that is need.
Thanks in advance!!

Look at the servo examples that come with the Arduino IDE.
Have a look at planning and implementing a program.
Start with one or two servos and learn how to control them.
