Hi,
I am very new to Arduino's and like the audio features of a Due but need to have most of the controls of my system controlled by a Mega. Is it possible to use an output from a Mega go into an input of the Due? I know they run at 5v and 3.3v; so would it just damage the Due?

You must use a logic level converter. No big deal. Many suppliers carry them. I use Aadafruit.
