I’m sorry if I’m posting in the wrong section, I’m new to this and couldn’t seem to find where to go.. anyways..
I searched online and found conflicting results for the stall current of mg995 servo motors. I got anywhere from 350ma to 1200ma. Does anyone know why there would be such a discrepancy and what the actual current draw would be at 6v?
If it is a genuine MG995, the stall current will be around 1.2 Amperes, and the servo will briefly draw that every time it starts moving.
Some sellers are sloppy with their product ads, don't think "stall current" is important to state, and may not even know what the term means. Like many hobbyists.
