Microstepping TMC2209 bigtreetech

Hi all, I bought a TMC2209 driver (BIGTREETECH, v1.3
However, I noticed that the microsteps option is limited to 16 even if the product says that can go up to 256.
Does Anyone know if it is possible to increase the micro stepping option to 32, 64 or so? (I would need 32 at least)
If yes, how can I do it? or should I get directly a different driver?

Are you shure you have a TMC 2209? The datasheet of the TMC 2209 tells something different:

TMC2209-Microstepping
TMC2209-Microstepping1339×257 37.9 KB

And you can select more modes when using the UART interface.

yes, it is a TMC2209, and I was confused for this reason: I saw around that TMC2209 should be able to perform what you did post, but the picture I show is what I found on the manuals of the device I got. maybe it is an old version? This is the one I got.

Because the manual you shared is from the trinamic driver right?

Yes it is. But I don't think the board can do something different from the chip itself.
Your table refers to the TMC2208
