So i have set these addresses as they are approximately where i need them - I can adjust when i do the test fitting etc.
storedPostions[0] = 750; //1st track
storedPostions[1] = 1100; //2nd track
storedPostions[2] = 1900; //3rd track
storedPostions[3] = 2250; //4th track
storedPostions[4] = 2600; //5th track
We will use these from now on.
I have found that i can get to all the correct addresses, although i had to think for a moment when it said it had arrived at position 10 as the stored positions only go to 9 - but accounting for the 0 it makes sense.
This will be change to reflect ZERO (0) relative address later
As we are not able to return to home is it possible to add an additional address at 200 steps for the main incoming line, with it own 180 turn?
Ask this question a bit later.
put it on your wife's "Things To Do List"
If we are moving on from setting up the rotary encoder - Im more than happy for the setting of addresses to work like this - can we please change the rotary encoder to count in 1's to enable a fine tune of aligning rails. The holding of the CW and CCW buttons allows for a fast turn so the rotary encoder would now be of more use taking very fine steps.
