Model rocket igniter continuity

sure, but i need to supply 6v through the relay. One of the posts above mentioned i could do that using a 5v relay, and i think this module would have an onboard voltage regulator? I’m not sure. regardless, how would i connect the LED to it if it is connected through the arduino?

I need 6v for successfull ignition and one of the posts mentioned the relay can supply 6v regardless of it being powered by 5v. I need to know whether 6v can be produced through the relay.

. A 9 volt, or even a 5 volt, relay can supply 6 volts to ignite the nichrome provided the contacts are rated for the voltage and current that you need.

So use a 6V battery instead of a 9V like I show.

A 6v battery connected to the 5v relay? What difference would it make if i connect the 9v? Thank you so much for your help!

6V is used for the ignitor.
5V connects to Vcc

So i connect 2 separate batteries, one to the igniter and one to vcc? How does that work? The schematic you’ve shown makes sense but now with the arduino aspect added to it it seems a bit sketchy.. Could you explain in depth? Im a newbie so sorry for the inconvenience

Give me a second

Ah that makes a lot of sense. So the LED switches on when the igniter is connected?

If the ignitor is connected, then the LED will turn on when you push the red pushbutton
If the ignitor is NOT connected then the LED will stay off
