Multimeter fuses and limits

Kps mt 440

So what of it?

Sorry for not understanding you well, so you are saying if i am in miliamp mode and lead are on 400ma fuse, if the fuse is blown the multimeter changes to use the 10a fuse in 400ma fuse line right?

Open it and count the fuses.

There are two

One for 10A and one for 400mA.

Yes

If you can put your red lead in the uA mA hole and you can measure a current <400mA, your fuse is not blown.
You will probably never have a need to set the meter to uA.

Don't feel bad. I was a student tech during my college days. The university paid me to replace fuses between classes. I can't tell you how many meter fuses I replaced in any given week. Some students never learned the proper way to measure current.

I can measure 355ma from aaa battery but when i do the continuity mode using black lead on 10a fuse and 400ma fuse it beeps only on 10a fuse

Are you using the same meter to perform the continuity test on itself? That's not recommended.
The continuity test is probably passing current through the 400mA fuse

Yes

Your fuse is good

I learnt after the first or second time....

Thanks

Lol
Is my quality US public school education showing?
We Americans took a beautiful language and bastardized it.

Many people tried to standardize if after the revolution, but Congress ignored their efforts. Same as today!

Wrong, like I said in reply #12.
It doesn't change, it is like that already.
