Well, identifying what gauge you're using to start with would help. Calculators are available, like this one:

Since you're running 5V LEDs, strive for less than 0.5, better yet 0.1 volts drop, and remember the total length is out-and-back, i.e. 0.1V drop in your + lead will also mean 0.1V drop in your - lead, unless you somehow get different lengths going.

BTW most available meters are spec'd to 0.1 ohm, +/-1 count, so a reading of 0.1 is pretty much meaningless. That is, unless you have a special low-resistance four-lead meter.
