Multiple Xbee and Mutliple Arduino

Guys, we need some help regarding arduinos and multiple xbees.

We are working on a thesis on Monitoring Flood using 6 xbees(with one coordinator node and 5 sensor nodes using ultrasonic sensors). Each of these nodes are connected to an arduino. We want to be able to communicate each of the sensor nodes their data to be able to transfer to the coordinator node. This is my first time using xbees and we dont really know where to start. We need help as we are already close to our thesis defense and we havent figured out anything yet.

Hello thank you for the reply, I am currently searching for arduino xbee mesh as you said. True enough, there are lot of links pertaining to the subject. I am currently understanding more about xbees and how they work.

I am using the HC SR04 ultarsonic sensors to measure the water level.

how far apart are the devices?
I used Lora communications in a similar project using a waterproof JSN-SR04T Ultrasonic Distance Sensor and ds18b20-digital-temperature-sensor

unfortunatly not used XBEE for many years and then it was on a PIC24 microcontroller

Unfortunately we have already proposed Using Xbee for our project. It would be hard to change from xbee to lora at this time. Thanks for the insight tho.

We are using Two Xbee S2C Pro and Four Xbee S2C.

XBee is a good choice as it supports long distance communication similar to Lora
