Hi, I'm trying to use a Digispark board to send keybinds into a Chromebook to make it do things when I plug it in. So I bought 2 boards. I used 1 and it took me hours, but I finally got it to work, it uploaded, and it did what I wanted it to when I plugged it into my Chromebook. I used it a few times, and it seemed good until one time I pluged it into my Chromebook and it did nothing, so I thought nothing of it and i just needed to reupload the code, then my pc wouldn't detect it, it just said to plug in my device and did nothing when I did. I'm not sure why because it was working fine before and randomly stopped working. It came with 2 chips, so I decided to try the other one because maybe the chip broke. The other chip didn't work either, but I noticed that on the new chip, there was a blinking light after plugging it in for 5 seconds, which on the other chip never happened. I got 10 more chips from Amazon, and I'm trying to get this to work again, but nothing I try seems to be working. Does anybody know how to fix this?
Which one?
Usually there is a reset button that puts boards into bootloader mode, and it will be described in the user documentation. Go through that carefully.
I cant find a button on there but I dont think the bootloader is the problem, my PC just isn't detecting it being plugged in. This is the board:Amazon.com: ACEIRMC 8pcs Digispark Kickstarter Mini ATTINY85 USB Development Board Module Compatible for Arduino IDE 1.0 : Electronics
You will have to find and follow the "getting started" guide for that board. This one might help: https://diyusthad.com/2021/07/digispark-attiny85.html
