My LoRa mesh, best chip and freq?

Hello, i am planning to set a lora mesh at a rural area. The idea is read water level, and temperature sensors at long distance buildings/wells +500mts.

I already tested the sx1276 (2 antennas) and it works pretty nice using the IBM LMIC library. Love it!!

The next step is to set all up. But i don't know which frequency and antenna is better.

There is sx1276 sx1278 and many more.
Which one shall i use? ¿?!

There are 433,868,915Mhz models.
Which one shall i use? ¿?!

You use the frequency that is legal to use in your country.

'reliability' should not change as such with frequency.

Of course, stating the obvious, the range you can achieve will reduce with rising frequency (of transmission and assuming the same ERP) due to the attenuation of free space rising with frequency, assuming that you also reduce antenna size with rising frequency.
