As it took me a while to figure this out (and I've seen a few posts in the forum that have been closed without an answer), I wanted to share here the wiring and the sketch I've written to record audio to WAV files in an SD card.
I'm not very familiar with C++ or Arduino, so probably the code is not great, but at least it works.
