Need Help adding LED to Fighting Stick Game controller

Hello I am new to this forum and to Arduino board. I found out about Arduino searching for a solution to activate my LED light on my fighting stick controller. so I will give a brief description of what I have and what I want to do.

First I have a Razer Panthera fighting stick which I already replaced the stock buttons for LED buttons

I believe the LED light is not connected to the microswitch controller on the button so linking the pins will not work. there are few video showing show to add LED to fighting stick but there are either using different board just designed for it with their receptive LED or using other kind of board that control the microswitch on the button as well. Here are some example.
