Need help using GSM shield with arduino

To start off I should say I'm a newbie at programming :roll_eyes: I found some helpful codes on Arduino's website like the one I listed bellow, but it's not exactly what I want. All I need is to know how to read certain SMS messages and triggers an actuator. For example, I want Arduino to send 5V to output pin 5 when an SMS message saying Hello is received. Your help will be appreciated, I'm new to this and it's frustrating me!!

 /*
SMS receiver

 This sketch, for the Arduino GSM shield, waits for SMS messages
 and displays them through the Serial port.
