Hello! I am new to Arduino and using it for a university project. My idea was to design a twist on the key dish/hook. I wanted to design a product that when you got home the key dish/box would recognize you were close and would make a sound to remind you to put your keys down and the sound would not stop until your keys are placed in the dish/box. This idea is in response to how I always lose my keys because I don't have a habit of putting them in the one place when i get home, so need a reminder to put them down when I first get home and thought Arduino could help. I was thinking a project like this would require NFC or RFID. But I am very green to this and struggling to figure out the logistics of this idea. Thank you in advance for your help!
Put a bowl on a table next to the door. Empty your pockets into the bowl when you walk in. No electronics needed.
Look I agree. The brief for this assessment isn't my favorite, but uni isn't always about making what you want. And regardless of you liking this idea, it is still an opportunity to learn something new.
