I can't seem to find a single source online for 3mm RGB LEDs that dont have a flash or fade gimmick. I just want an LED that'll turn on when I power it.
Has to be 3mm, 5mm is too big.
Anybody have a source??
Chiming in to agree. Pin spacing on 5mm RGB LEDs is already pretty close. You'll need to find a small RGB SMD LED...and all the ones I've found have been pretty expensive.
Would this be small enough?
Those SMDs are 5mm across.
I'm having someone cast resin for me, and need to get an RGB led in it.
The person is saying 5mm is too big to fit into the resin cast, so I'm stuck trying to find an RGB LED with dimensions less than 5mm.
This is the smallest multicolor I've seen

Try checking
directly and see what else they have.
Yep nothing quite fits the bill.
I guess I'm going to butt heads with this guy until he sees things my way xD
1" diameter of resin... I can't imagine why a 5mm tip would be such a huge request lmao...
Thanks guys, glad I wasn't just crazy for not finding one!
That seems odd - why require such a little LED with such a relatively big block?
1" = 2.54cm = 25.4mm , yes?
Good luck in your negotiations 8)
Here's 1.6mm^2 SMD ones, maybe they will work:
Good luck!
