Network issues for Arduino GSM shield module

I have been working on a project using Arduino Uno and Arduino GSM shield module. For Arduino GSM shield I have been using a 4G supported SIM card. But i could not able to send SMS in my area due to week signal. I have checked the strength of the network using AT commands and i have found out the strength to be stayed at the marginal with the value of 2 to 9. So, is there any alternative ways to strengthen the signal for the Arduino GSM shield Device. Please suggest me the ways.
