I have a problem with a nokia 5110 screen that troubles me very long time. I use a 4050 for shift 5v to 3v for signal and power screen from arduino 3.3v pin. The problem is that it is working only for 1 sec. It displays the demo for 1 sec and then nothing. When I connect the pins without 4050, it works fine. I have change 4050 many times and I check wiring many times but it gives me the same result always.

Well, I guess that's your answer. The real question is why does it work for only one second when you use the 4050. I imagine there is something else causing the problem, and the 4050 is innocent as well as superfluous, but you can be sure that, without more details of your wiring, nobody is likely to know.
I've hooked 5110 screens to 5 volt arduinos in my projects without any issues, despite what the datasheet says. Some say that it may lower screens lifespan but I've never noticed.
You could also considering running the data lines through 1k and 10k resistors or using a 3.3 volt arduino instead (eg. 3.3V/8MHz Pro or 3.3V Pro Mini)
