currently im using arduino microphone module :
which is very sensitive for my need, I need to detect a gun sound and when i monitor the serial output I see no output data when the gun fired.
Basically this sensor is good for indoor use and range of voice > 600, is there any other alternative? I googled myself couldn't find.

An electret microphone is a bit fragile for picking up a gunshot. You could wrap it in foam rubber, sealed, in order to desensitize it and protect it.
Or a piezo microphone is much more robust, and the sensitivity can be cut back by simply putting a low resistance in parallel with it. A piezo sounder (not a piezo buzzer) can serve as a microphone.
