each line should have 16 characters.
What kind of screen do I need.

I’d start looking for 16x3 displays, but I’ve never seen one.
Maybe a custom order, then you can specify size, font and colour as you need them.
Not terribly expensive nowadays.
Maybe DOGM-163-XX?
I don't think they make 3 line character LCDs. I hve spent hours trawling for character LCDs and see only 401, 801, 402, 802, 1602, 1604 (rare) 2004 4002 and 4004. The ones other than 1602 and 2004 are rare,
You use only 3 lines out of a 4 line display.
Or you use a graphical OLED display and make the font size such that three lines fit. The former is larger and easier to read, the latter cheaper (if small), but the text will be markedly smaller, unless you pick a larger oled screen than like 1.6" diagonal but the price goes through the roof as the size gets larger, then there's nothing in a large range until you hit laptop screens, which are far cheaper by price per area and price per pixel, (only 1-3 hundo). If small is good, there's a graphical oled that comes on a board barelylarge enough to fit a row of 4 pins to control it, that one I have seen pictures of displaying 3 lines of rtext If I was bringing in more money I would own one, but revenue is too low and my patreon/github sponsors aren't set up.
Or a graphical LCD. There are some like the character LCDs in manufacture style, though they're generally the largest of all by active area within the realm of Arduino-scale displays.
An E-paper screen is similar in terms of what you can display on it, except refresh is slow, but it keeps it's image without power. Small one's are finally affordable, even 2-color ones (there;s a 6.something inch 7 color e-ink screen for sale for like 60-70... would be awesome on a raspi or something like that.
