Is it possible to have a 2 transmitter (for example 2 remote controls) and 1 receiver using 1 arduino uno? Im new to wireless help me guys. Thanks!
Yes, that is possible with many types of wireless transmitters/receivers. However, you may need up to 3 Arduino for this to work, 2 for the transmitters and one for the receiver. We could give more advice if you explain the project in more detail.
I am working on a project that will open a swing gate using a motor. I would like to have a two (2) remote controls to do it. Thank you for your reply
You can buy remotes and receiver units "off-the-shelf" for this. Why do you want to use an Arduino? For your own education?
When you say "remote" do you mean IR or RF or either?
There is a master and 2-slaves example in this Simple nRF24L01+ Tutorial.
However a project for opening a gate is very unlikely to be faced with two TXs sending at the same time so the simpler first example should be sufficient. Just make two TXs that both send to the same address.
What @PaulRB has said sounds like it is well worth considering as a simpler solution.

I'm planning to use RF. So if i can buy a remote rf, therefore i only need 1 arduino to program its algorithm. Thank you for the info much appreciated.

That may not be correct. An off the shelf remote RF may not be compatible with Arduino.
I have no personal experience but IIRC there have been Forum Threads in which 433MHz key-fob transmitters were linked to a 433MHz receiver and an Arduino. Google should find them.

One Arduino with a receiver and the RC-Switch library can decode any number of these pushbutton remotes.

Eugh! Corpsefied fingernails!
Can anyone suggest what will i use if im going to build my own RF with dual(2) transmitter and 1 receiver? With high stability that can go through years.
The RF remote ready is good but its program is fixed. I want to add more features.
