Operating MKR WAN 1310 with 3.7 V LiPo battery

Hi, everyone.

I want to use MKR WAN 1310 with 3.7 V power supply from LiPo battery instead of 5 V power supply from PC.
With a USB connection to a PC, LoRa communication can be done without problems, but power supply from the battery alone does not work.

Please give me some advice.
Regard,

Hi Gishikai,

When you connect the LiPo, none of the leds is on, so it looks like if the board is dead...
Check:

  • Polarity of the LiPo ok?
  • Is the LiPo fully charged?
  • Is the 'blink' sketch (0.1 Basics example) working?
  • Double click the reset-button when only the LiPo is connected; Is the built-in led on?
  • Is the Battery Charger LED on when USB and LiPo are connected?
  • Try the BatteryCharger sketch (one of the examples from the BQ24195 library) (https://downloads.arduino.cc/libraries/github.com/arduino-libraries/Arduino_BQ24195-0.9.1.zip)
    Hope this helps.
    Kind Regards,
    Frans
