Paid project - Simple sleep machine

I need a device that will play an audio file on repeat infinitely once it receives power. I have the powered speaker and will be able to tap the power cord myself for usb power to the controller.
3.5mm audio out.

I tried an mp3 player. I don't want to have to start the file or worry about the audio device's battery needing to be charged when the device comes on. Just flip the switch and the tune starts playing

Do you have a recommendation for one that does that?

I'm trying to integrate it into an old sub. The power switch for the sub will feed a USB brick to power the controller as well as the internal amp. I want to be able to just turn on the sub and have the file play. On/off sleep track player.

It could be done with just the DF Player MP3 player board if you don't mind having a start button, as @Delta_G suggests. Adding an arduino is a bit overkill but probably the simplest way to have it play on repeat on startup.

I built this player in an Altoids tin, but I used a Start pushbutton since I ran into the same problem: the player won't run on startup.

You post a job on "jobs" and do not want to pay or get replies?

I "made" a $4 player that played forever, last year for a halloween effect.

Price of project == price of hardare, 'cause people work for free.
