PC will not shutdown with Arduino Micro plugged into USB

If I leave my arduino micro plugged in, my computer will not shutdown properly.
It goes to blue screen, then restarts.

Windows 7 64 is the OS that I am running.

I have no other problems. I can run programs to the pc and load sketches to the Arduino.
Thanks in advance for any advise.
