Please offer board model comparison chart / table on website!

Dear website editor! Dear Arduino team!

I was new to Arduino, and I wanted to get an overview over the available models in order to buy the right model(s) for my project. Thus I went to:

Arduino Hardware

This page describes the overall characteristics of each device, which gives a first rough idea. All details can then be viewed on every model's own page.

But what was missing for me, was a comparison table!!! To have a handy tool for quickly comparing the hard facts, in order to decide which (combination of) model(s) meets the expectations of your project (best).

I did a web search for terms such as "Arduino board model comparison table chart etc", but the results were either:

• irrelevant (comparison of starter kits, shields, etc -- but not the boards),
• outdated (i.e. this comparison table from 2008),
• all mentioned within one page but with separate tables per model instead of in one big comparison table,
• in my preferred presentation/layout manner but incomplete ( Arduino - Wikipedia --> See: Arduino board models (sortable table) ).

It would be very cool if your page would feature such a comparison table, preferable with sort and filter options!

The really really nice things about wikis is that anybody can make this chart! "Anybody" includes ---> you!

As you are most keen on it, find the current offering insufficient, know exactly which bit is missing, have probably already done the research to find the missing information - YOU are the most qualified person to improve the wikipedia page and/or create/modify such a page on the Arduino wiki (called the Playground).

Go for it. And thank you for putting the effort in it.

@Msquare: Meanwhile, even before I read your reply , I did this! At Arduino - Wikipedia I completed some informations, and normalized the table's data/layout and made the table a subchapter, so that it can be properly referenced.
But nevertheless, I am a newbie and outsider, and as such, I lack a) the necessary overview & b) the ability to state correct / precise factual information, as my knowledge is only secondary!

@Editor: Therefore, the most reliable comparison chart / table would come from the official team / editor!

I moved some stuff round and added the USB Interface type

I started on this a while back but it was never ideal and I kinda lost interest (and time)
