Why is espcam not fed from buck converter?

Please try and hand draw it and include pin numbers/names.
Different colour wires do not help either, just black and white will do.

@build_1971 ESP32 CAM is powered from buck converter as its voltage regulator sheet says it supports 6 - 20v, as to not face any current problems.

About the same specs as an L293D.
Only for thumbnail-sized brushed DC motors, and not suitable for most modern stepper motors.

I agree with @Wawa not the ideal efficient motor driver.
The 7881 has 9110 drivers in it.
Specs 9110;

For 9V supply you loose nearly 2V in the IC.

I can also use an I2C GPIO Expander, so I don't think there will be any pin shortages right?

For 9V supply you loose nearly 2V in the IC.

You will be loosing about 1/3 of your battery/motor power to heat/inefficiency of the 7881 which uses L9110 driver ICs.
