How do I get v2 Portable? Creating a folder 'portable' does not help.

Hi @Doc_Arduino. Arduino IDE 2.x does not currently have an equivalent capability to the Arduino IDE 1.x portable mode. This is tracked by the Arduino IDE developers here:
