I am currently doing the button and toggle introduction tutorial and when i press the button the Power module light shuts off as long as I am holding down the button and turns back on when I let go.
The button is wired incorrectly and shorting out the Vsource. Post an image of your project and perhaps the wrongness can be figured out.
It does not sound like you're providing a tutorial hence your topic has been moved to a more suitable location on the forum.
Please provide a link to that tutorial.
It was a tutorial given to me by my school i am not sure it is an exact arduino tutorial
The image in post#4 does not show where the white wire connecting the switch goes.
It looks like white wires to the switch are not in the same holes.
I suppose you do not have a meter?
unfortunately not with me
I solved it my ground on thecontrol board wasnt going to the ground in the the bread board.
