Problem connecting HC-06 to PC

Topic: Having a problem stabilizing the hc-06 in an Arduino Mega 2560 to blink for long.

I have gone through some videos to help me connect the module to the mega board. But anytime I try, the module blinks for about 2-5 seconds and then goes off. Please I need help. Thank you
