problem uploading a sketch to the Arduino Micro

I just bought an Arduino Micro and try to upload it the blink basic example.

The compiling is fine but the upload doesn't work. it just hang there writing in the status bar "uploading...".

I have installed the driver properly because there is no question mark in the device manager.

I am using windows 7 environment with 32 bit OS.

any new developments.
I am a newbie and have exactly the same problem.

Arduino: 1.6.5 (Windows 8.1), Board: "Arduino Micro"
Build options changed, rebuilding all
Sketch uses 4,790 bytes (16%) of program storage space. Maximum is 28,672 bytes.

Global variables use 151 bytes (5%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2,409 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2,560 bytes.

avrdude: butterfly_recv(): programmer is not responding
