I have pins 2/3 mapped to the tx/rx pins and have a console running on my arduino as I was originally getting garbage using the sample sketch provided by sparkfun. My hunch was that the baud rate was not properly set on the sm5100b. Connecting via a terminal at 115200 i now am getting commands returning from the GSM module, but it just continuously spits out +CME ERROR: 60. Any ideas?
found my problem, in order for the jumpers to work you have to have an empty sketch loaded on the board.
