Project Guidance for wind based electricity generation

Hi.,
I was assigned to do a wind based electricity generator for my final year project.

I'm using 18650 2200mah li-ion batteries in series with richtek 9480 battery evolution kit for electricity storage.

Thought of using asyncronous motor or permanent magnet generator for generation.

And 5V dc-dc stepup rectifier for unstable power generation.

My question is how can I read power generation and rpm of the rotor Using adruino through andriod application.

What can be changed in these specification..!??
You're all welcome..!!

No one can really help unless you provide more specifics about the hardware you are going to use.
Start by selecting a suitable generator and provide its specs then its easier to pick all the remaining items that will be needed.

Try to choose battery storage that minimizes (or eliminates) the need for step-up (or down) and rectification circuits as they will waste energy.

Having a large battery bank will give you much more scope as it will be less easy to over-charge and will be less likely to be over-depleted when the wind is not blowing.

How much power do you plan to generate, and at what voltage levels? As long as you can't put numbers on that, you can't design the rest.
