PS2 Controller not connecting

I am trying to connect a Play Station 2 wireless controller to my arduino Uno, but keep getting the following error message. I am not sure what to do. I have ready that the controller might be a 3.5V or a 5V. I tried both and get the same error. Anyone know what I could do to troubleshoot?
Unknown Controller type found, check wiring, see readme.txt to enable debug. visit www.billporter.ino for troubleshooting tips

Where is orange connected to the controller plug?

Orange is connected to CMD. The wire didn't have the right connector so had to daisy chain it.

CMD is 11, you have it in 12

Yes, the image for the schematics was not consistent with the code. My wiring needed to change, and now it works!!

Well done!

Going forward, you may want to get one of these, PS2 Controller breakout connector. I use them myself and it makes things much easier to know what pins do what.
