HI everybody,

is it possible to print a "." with lc.setChar(0,0,char,false) ? I am wondering because actually you turn off the dp with the "False" statement..

I think you mean LCD not LED assuming this yes you can print a "." in the LCD , which one are you using a 16x2 or something more complex?

no I am using LEDControl.h (multiplexing LEDs and controlling 7 segment display...) here: Arduino Playground - MAX72XXHardware
