AI-Thinker makes a 24GHz radar module (RD-03E) that senses a basic waving gesture that I would like to utilize for my project. I have tested the module and found the detection needs to be improved for my project. I have spent a few weeks looking for documentation and found several sources, and translated several documents from Chinese. These have been helpful, but I find that a full datasheet cannot be found that lists all of the available commands. In the user manual, on page 14, there is a list of commands related to the gesture detection, but it only lists their names and description, not the numeric command to send via serial or how to use them, see attached screenshot:
I would like to investigate improving the gesture detection for my project by adjusting these parameters. I have tried to contact several people related to the online resources I found but have not received useful responses. Could anyone suggest sources where I could search for the datasheet for RD-03E with gesture firmware?
i recently bought rd-03E n i got some chineese software ( xenp102rm01_tool) by which i was able to directly send configuration of range for micro n normal ranging and i tested rd-03e by this software...do u have aurdino code to extract distance n gestures i had some code but that doesnt work properly i tried my best
Welcome to the Arduino forum. That seems to be a pretty intense project for the first time user! What debugging did you do on that code? Without documentation, how did you determine it did not work properly?

However I have not found a way to adjust the parameters for Gesture detection. AI-Thinker support finally told me it is best not to adjust them, but there is no way to do that anyway. Too bad because I probably have applications for this if they could be adjusted.
