Dear Forum members,
I am designing a horticulture lights. For that I need a good light sensor which can work as digital light meter as well as provide details of color spectrums.
I need data of Ambient Light ( lux) , IR, UV and RGB Spectrum for analysis using i2c protocol on esp32.
It can be indoor grow space or outer green house.
Can group member recommend a sensor which can fulfill my need?
As I am in initial phase there is not any wiring diagram or sketch or schematic.
Have a look at one of these
- SparkFun Triad Spectroscopy Sensor - AS7265x (Qwiic) - SEN-15050 - SparkFun Electronics
- SparkFun Spectral Sensor Breakout - AS7263 NIR (Qwiic) - SEN-14351 - SparkFun Electronics
- SparkFun Spectral Sensor Breakout - AS7262 Visible (Qwiic) - SEN-14347 - SparkFun Electronics
- Adafruit AS7341 10-Channel Light / Color Sensor Breakout [STEMMA QT / Qwiic] : ID 4698 : $15.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits
- Adafruit VEML6075 UVA UVB and UV Index Sensor Breakout : ID 3964 : $5.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits
No experience
for a similar project a few years ago used a Vishay VEML6040 RGBW Color Sensor with I2C Interface
should be easy to interface to a ESP32 - there is a arduino veml6040 library
