Recovering burnt SIM800L V2 EVB

I just want to know if I can fix my 2 SIM800L V2 EVB module, 1st module I accidentally supply it 5V 5A and 2nd module I supply it with 11V 3A....the two diode (M7 and 1C37M) heated up in both module. I just want to restore it by changing M7 and 1C37M diodes or I will buy the SIM800L chip on that board? your answer will be appreciated.....

I'm not familiar with the module.

Usually you fix one thing (e.g. the diodes) and try it. The diodes might blow again because the SIM800L chip is damaged. Then you replace both the diodes and the SIM800L chip to find out that it still blows the diodes or the SIM800L so you have to dig further.

It will be very well possible that at the end you will have spend more on parts than the value of a new complete module.

Looks to me like that module takes 5V for the input voltage, a regulated 5V 5A power supply should not damage it. The fact that the power supply is capable of supplying 5A is not a problem, as long as the voltage does not rise above 5V at low current loads.

I try to supply it by 5v and 5A supply before I blew it up, it heats up the 2 diodes good thing is that I manage to remove the connection quickly then I try to supply it by 5v 2A supply then it works fine again but when I try to load it by 11v with 3A it heats rapidly....

I will try and update to this post....thanks
