Replace 328 DIP with 1284 SMD on adapter

If you price those out, they're even more expensive than the MillMax pin strips I
mentioned last time, undogly expensive, plus would be 10X as much trouble to
solder individual pins as for pins on plastic strips.

I wasn't sure as your link goes to graphite thermal material sheets.

This is all I see:

The U.S. catalog page looks like this...

Weird. I suppose that makes a lot more sense now.

Tom, I see your link says MobileCatalog, so you're apparently using a
cellphone/tablet/whatever, and the browser is redirecting to a local link
on your side of the pond. Hmmm.

Argh! Now Mouser thinks I'm in the U.K.!

I'm using my PC. Just clicked your link and that is the page it loaded (your link says mobileCatalog too). What a strange website.

For a silly idea could you make this as a UNO shield that has the normal header pins but also has pins to interface to the socket of the removed 328 underneath. You would also have plenty of room then to put the extra ports and a a crystal.

Might as well just use this less the voltage regulator (and perhaps a couple of other parts) and with feed thru headers then.

Oh, sorry about that. Should have noticed [shows how much I know!]. Well, I guess
the UK mouser catalog is paged differently from the US, and your browser redirects
there. ["We have control of your computer, do not panic, all your base are belong to us].
