I'm sure I am not the only person who is getting annoyed with new users not posting their code properly. So instead of code tags to insert a user's code into their post, can we just have a simple text box that says "Paste or Drop Code Here". This way all they need to do is put their code in that box and click post. When they go back to see their post or when we want to see it, the code is automatically in code tags at the bottom of their post.
Now if it can be formatted too, then that would also be extreme helpful (doubtful but one can only hope)
There would still need to be a code button so that you can put pieces of code in between explanations.
If I send an email with Thunderbird it automatically detects the word attach (and its variants) and reminds me to add the attachment.
Maybe there could be a similar detective watching what is posted and calling a pop-up to remind the user to use code tags. A semi-colon at the end of a line would be a good identifier for code.

Of course.

That would be good (also no one here really uses proper grammar to separate their clauses with semicolons anyways).
