Reset button

Hi again;
I am designing an external board for my Arduino. I want to put a reset button on it. In what pin should I connect the button? VCC - GND?
I've been searching for Internet with no luck.
Thanks in advance

Button pin 1 -> ground
Button pin 2 -> Reset

If you need more details you can see exactly how the Arduino reset button is wired by looking at the Uno schematic

The reset button is right above the ATMega328p chip.

Good luck!

Oh come on.
Put the words:- standalone arduino
into google.

168 pins are the same as 328 pins.

@grumpy
my teacher told me: searching is more difficult than you think but less difficult when you think.

if you cannot find an answer on the internet, try formulating how an answer would look like.
e.g. Google: the reset pin of the Arduino should be connected between

the first hit [often] contains the answer more information

Furthermore google supports + and - so you can google: bicycle +men -children -woman +mountain -water

hey!
quiet guys. Do not you see yourself forced to respond. There is a certain arrogance in the answers.
Anyway thanks for the replies.
Good luck!

Did not meant to be arrogant or to insult you, if so apologies.

We get (too) often people on the forum that do no (serious) search at all, so every now and then I add google tips to help people do better searches.

I hope you found the pinout helpful!

Reset is chip pin 1, when grounded the chip resets.
