RFID with Texas Instruments TRF7960A - Anybody got it to work with the Uno?

Hi,

This project uses an Arduino Uno to talk to a TRF7960A RFID transceiver chip via SPI. The goal is to read and display the tag's UID on a LCD panel. Has anyone gotten this chip to work with the Uno or any other Arduino?

Some other person asked a similar question concerning the TRF7960 about 18 months ago and there were no replies.

Yes, it is possible to use an Arduino Uno to operated the TRF7960A RFID chip. I am answering my own question. I got it working today.

Awesome. I'm going to try the same thing, but with the TRF7970A RFID chip - hopefully similar. Would you have any tips / example code you could share? Thanks!
