Robot - Moving from breadboard to perfboard (high current draw-wiring)

So I made a pair of 3D printed walking legs awhile ago using 8 micro servo's hooked up in a similar way in the attachment below and now i'm moving up to full sized servo's that draw 250mA idle to 3.5A stalled at 8.4v (7.2v around 3.2A).

Now the old breadboard isn't going to be able to handle the current draw of these larger servo's obviously (perfboard as well). The question I wanted to ask is how would you go about rigging up all the servo's to the power supply? Before they were all connected on the breadboard trace so I guess I can use bus bar wire to act as the trace with the correct current capacity and just solder the power leads of the motors to that?

(For anyone wondering about power I upgraded to a Lipo Battery 7.4V 7000mAh 2S 25C so even though it probably won't last to long it should be able to supply enough juice at the correct voltage.) Ordered capacitors as well.

I'm still learning as I progress onwards so I figure its best to research and then ask around encase I missed something. The whole robot is going to have around 20 servo's in total but right now just the waist down is completed and will take 8 servo's like my first pair of legs.

I often use strip board and solder some tinned copper wire to supplement the tracks when using heavy current. Solder the parts in first then all the layer of wire over the track and solder that.
I would also add lots of decoupling along the power bus.
