RS232 read data from MPP-Solar inverter

I think your cables are not correct, you need to exchange TX/ RX,

On what side you think are incorrect, on the INVERTER -> RS232 module,
or
RS232 module -> Arduino MEGA ?

Unfortunately I sent my MPP 8048 MAX unit back o the seller as I received it defective The unit "thinks" it constantly producing energy from PV1, even if I removed the PV connectors, it still shows it produces 2600w and the PV1 string has 370v ... with or without PV plugged in .

After I will receive it back will try more tests.
