Thanks, LarryD. All good links. I previously ran across the Arduino Masterclass on youtube. I've also started watching a series of tutorials from Paul McWhorter. So much to learn with so little time!

[image] chiphowat: with so little time!

I find McWhorter too verbose. I like DroneBotWorkshop for concise written and video content, from beginning to intermediate Arduino (and more). just lots of draws on my time... :grinning:

Hi there, I'm also a noob. Just got my Arduino Uno and a Ideaspark esp8266 wifi board with the 0.96 OLED vr 2.1. I would just like to get some suggestions as to a good project for a beginner. Something I can do without buying anything else. Any Help? Thanks :grinning: :grinning:

I'm not familiar with the Ideaspark, My first project was a Halloween decoration. I used a PIR sensor to detect motion which would trigger an mp3 player. The project was a good way to help me get started and having the holiday deadline pushed me to stay engaged and figure it out.
