Sensor resistance

Hi, my lecturer has given me an LT3092 IC to connect to an Arduino Uno R3 board with some resistors and a sensor which resistance can increase if you press on it. And I am supposed to get an output on Arduino but I am not sure how to. Hope someone can help me :smiling_face_with_tear:

Post a link or schematic for the circuit board you are using. Without that, no-one can help very much.

What I can tell you is that you cannot plug a sensor into the power socket of an Uno. It will not work and may be damaged or cause damage.

No signals can be measured from your circuit board without a common ground, and you do not have one connected.

ouhh i see. the circuit board is basically just to solder the IC as its quite hard to connect it to a breadboard  this is the datasheet of the IC https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/lt3092.pdf and where do I connect the ground though

A good question. Without a schematic for that circuit board, we can't help.

Hi,

What is the class called and has the lecturer taught you how to read a voltage from a sensor?

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?
Hand drawn and photographed is perfectly acceptable.
Please include ALL hardware, component names and pin labels.

Thanks.. Tom... :+1: :coffee: :australia:
