I am working on a project which involves a bluetooth connection. I am using a HC-05 connected to my laptop which is an HP. The connection between the laptop and HC-05 is fine, at least thats what the lights on the bluetooth module says. However, my Serial monitor is not recognising anything in COM5, the port that the bluetooth module function off of. I have tried the other COM ports with no avail and all I am doing is trying to test the bluetooth module with a code that simply turns an LED on when given 1 and off when 0.
