Serial Plotter tips

I'm starting some Arduino classes at our Library's Makerspace and came up with a Tips document for the Serial Plotter. Here's a jpg of the handout. Hope it helps other folks out. If anyone has suggestions for improvement, please comment here. Thanks, D

First, never post in Uncategorised, it says so right in the category. Ask a moderator to please move this thread to a more appropriate category - either suggest one, or ask them to use their superior judgement.

I expect you'll get some useful feedback - I'll be watching! Thank you for contributing this!

Thanks, I was able to place in the Educational category. Thanks again.

  • Maybe add:

Serial.print("\tThis is tabbed.");

One-page, single-side, 8.5x11 (which can fit on A4) with room for project notes.

A small point.

Things that are not together are separate - not seperate.

Good catch, thanks. I’ll fix it in the next revision.

I think the tab function, \t, is only is used in the Serial Monitor. Sometimes I have both Monitor and Plotter open, so I’ll try your suggestion. Thanks
